A RESPONSIBLE AND
SUSTAINABLE COMMITMENT
To preserve our environment, the building sector must play a major role given its significant impact in terms of the use of natural resources, energy consumption and waste production. Building projects are the principal source of CO2 emissions in urban areas. Right from the start, our projects respect the demands of sustainable development, a rigour applied from design to construction and through to the on-going building maintenance.
Our projects incorporate a balance of social, economic and environmental values and reflect our commitment to:
- Lending added value to the urban environment while respecting its social and cultural history
- Integrating developments into the urban fabric while favouring a social mix through accessibility and an opening up of the neighbourhood
- Enriching urban renewal through projects with mixed functions
- Investing in the redevelopment of municipalities in coopera - tion with the public authorities, possibly through PPPs (public-private partnerships)
- Participating in the economic regeneration of neighbourhoods
- Significantly limiting environmental nuisance
- Favouring renovation over major construction as a means of controlling waste production
- Designing “recyclable” buildings whose structure permits possible future uses
- Minimising CO2 production on the basis of acceptable technical and economic conditions while ensuring the comfort and quality of life of the occupants
- Using local sub-contractors and craftsmen whenever possible
- Favouring simple construction methods as opposed to unnecessarily sophisticated technologies
- Validating the project’s overall profitability
Our commitment is to put our words into practice. At "The Davids" it’s the total output of an integrated farm, from vineyards to livestock, guaranteed biocompatible in addition to its incomparable flavour.
